On Friday, March 8, 2019, the Women’s Fund of the Capital Region will honor three outstanding women of achievement at its eleventh Trailblazers Awards Luncheon at the Glen Sanders Mansion.

Through their generosity of spirit, and leadership, they have blazed trails to make a difference in the lives of women and girls in our community.

Our Honorary Committee Chair is Ann DiSarro, who was recognized as a Trailblazer in 2017. Our Mistress of Ceremonies is Benita Zahn, WNYT/NewsChannel 13.

Come early to bid on some wonderful items in our silent auction!

Following the success of previous collections, The Women's Fund will collect items at this luncheon to benefit local women and children in domestic violence shelters in the counties served by the fund. To participate, bring any of the following (new items only, please): skin and body care products -- including hotel and store sample sizes, make-up, razors, toothpaste, deodorant. Thank you!


Responses received by January 21st will be recognized in the printed invitation and program.


The actual value of a ticket to the Trailblazers Awards Luncheon is $25. Any contribution in excess of this amount is tax deductible. All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
