November 20, 2013

On Wednesday, November 20, 2013, the Women’s Fund of the Capital Region honored two outstanding women of achievement at its sixth Trailblazers Awards Luncheon at the Glen Sanders Mansion.

Beth Coco
Entrepreneur in Residence, University at Albany

Christine Standish
President, the Standish Family Foundation

Through their generosity of spirit, and leadership, they have blazed trails to make a difference in the lives of women and girls in our community.

At this signature event, we also recognized outgoing Chair, Susan Haigh Houpt, for her dedication, leadership and support since our inception in 2006. We take great pride that during Susan’s tenure the Women’s Fund has awarded more than $273,000 in scholarships, emergency funds and grants to help women and girls make meaningful choices that will enhance their futures.

2013 Honorary Committee Co-Chair was Jane Golub. Our Mistress of Ceremonies was Dori Marlin, News Anchor, CBS6.
