A sell-out crowd of over 300 people who share the Women’s Fund’s belief in investing in the future of the women and girls in our community attended at our third annual Trailblazer Luncheon at Wolferts Roost Country Club on May 20th.

The Women’s Fund is always looking for groups of women to talk to. Recently Steering Member and Events Committee Chair Alicia Lasch (center) attended Story Sunday at The Glen Sanders Mansion, a storytelling dinner series for adults now in its tenth season, where she introduced the audience to The Women’s Fund.

Nonprofit organizations serving women and girls were invited to an informational program on October 8 to learn about The Women’s Fund of the Capital Region’s 2009 grants process. The session included distribution of the new pre-application form and answering questions regarding our new application process. The brief program also included a case study of a previous successful grant recipient.
