Ruth H. Mahoney
President, KeyBank Hudson Valley / Metro New York

Ruth H. Mahoney serves as president for Key’s Hudson Valley/Metro NY District, and as such is the senior representative and spokeswoman, and leads the organization’s economic and community development efforts. She oversees the full range of Key’s financial services in the nine-county district—Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, Westchester, New York and Fairfield (CT)—which includes 400 Employees and 58 branches.

Previously, Ruth was Capital Region and Hudson Valley/Metro NY market manager for Key Private Bank, responsible for all of the banking, investment and trust needs of affluent individual clients. She originally joined Key in 1991 as a member of Key’s Management Associate Program. She has also worked for Bank of America (formerly Fleet Bank) in Albany, where she served as senior vice president and city executive.

Ruth earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing with a minor in communications from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She formerly held Series 7 and 63 licenses and was a certified trust and financial advisor. She has been honored by the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Business Council as a Woman of Excellence (2004), the Business Review as a Forty under 40 award winner (2003), Hope House Funding Corporation as a Circle of Hope recipient (2003) and the YWCA of Schenectady as a Woman of Achievement (2009). She was also a member of the 1987 European Championship Irish National Basketball Team.

An active member of the community, she serves on the board of the Westchester County Association. She is a founding member of the Women’s Fund of the Greater Capital Region and board member of the United Way of Northeastern New York, where she serves on the executive and finance committees. Ruth is a former board member of St. Pius X School and Albany Institute of History and Art and is an alumnus and former co-chair of the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce’s Capital Leadership Program.

Ruth and her family have recently relocated to Westchester County.


Julie Massry Knox

Julie Massry Knox is originally from the Albany area. After graduating from Emma Willard School in 1998, she attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she received an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management. Upon returning back to Albany, she attended The College of Saint Rose and received her MBA through their one-year full time program. She is a 2011 graduate of the Rensselaer Chamber Leadership Institute.

In addition to her work at Tri City Rentals, she is involved with many community organizations: Center for Disability Services - Foundation Board; The College of Saint Rose - Board of Associates and committee member for the annual Community of Excellence event; Girls Inc. – Treasurer and board member of the Gifts Board; Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center – Co-Chair for their annual Mystery Challenge Event; and The Jewish Federation – cabinet member in Coalition for Tomorrow (under 40 group.)

She currently lives in Loudonville with her husband Jim Knox, who is in marketing/communications at Siena College, and their two young sons, Isaac and Ezra.

Almeda C. Riley, a long-term resident of Saratoga Springs, first ran for office in 1975, when she was elected to a five year term on the Saratoga Springs Library Board. Since then, she was elected and served as Supervisor from Saratoga Springs from 1980 through 1988, and Mayor of Saratoga from 1990 through 1995. She chaired the Board of Supervisors in 1985.

A.C.’s background is that of a community volunteer. At present, she chairs the Planned Giving Committee of the Saratoga Hospital Foundation. She is a member of the Board of the Saratoga County Economic Opportunity Council, and a member of the League of Women Voters, the Saratoga Springs Historical Society, the United Methodist Church, the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation, Saratoga Arts, and the Forum for Executive Women of the Capital Region. She is a member of the Endowment Committee for the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region. She is also a life member of the Cornell University Council and a member of the Advisory Council to the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University and the President’s Council of Cornell Women.

Past activities include membership in the Board of Trustees of Saratoga Hospital, board membership of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she also chaired the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Chairmanship of the Board of Trustees of Troy Conference of the United Methodist Church, Board membership on the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region, Trustee and Board Chair of The Sage Colleges, and Board membership of United Way of Saratoga County and United Way of Northeastern New York. She has been a member of the Capital Region Governor’s Advisory Council on Women. She was also active on the Board of the Saratoga County YMCA and the Saratoga Hospital Foundation. She is a former Director of the Saratoga National Bank.

A.C. was born in Wellsville, New York, and attended Wellsville Public Schools, graduated from Penn Hall preparatory school, and received an AB from Cornell University. She lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband, John L. Riley. She is the mother of four adult children.
